Tuesday - Farmer's Market Loot!

One big effort we have been making is to shop at the local farmer's markets, which are really abundant in this area. It's good for our wallets, our waists, and our conscience. I know not everything there is au naturel or local (I know they don't grow bananas in PA) but it feels good to support the local businesses. So I will be sharing our loot every week!

Dave's raw milk, and also trying some homemade butter this week. We also have some yummy looking steaks, hot dogs, pork chops, sausage, some lunch meat and cheese, and a chicken for beer can chicken later in the week. I am SUPER excited about that one.

Also some onions, zucchini, sugar peas, green beans (my absolute favorite fresh summer veg), broccoli, and acorn squash. Can't wait to see how it all turns out. Oh, and I spent under $75 (would have been less if I didn't splurge on steaks) and we need very little from the grocery store.
