Daily Food - 5/6


Breakfast: This should look familiar. I get on food kicks and it is definitely bagels right now. PS can you tell how out of it I am in the morning by this pictures?


Lunch was a PBJ sandwich and brussel sprouts, because I thought I needed a vegetable. That was blog motivation again - I didn't want to post a picture with no veg in it. I didn't actually eat the yogurt in the picture because I ran out of time.

Snacks: No pics, but I had a few pretzels before lunch and then I ate half a chicken salad croissant sandwich before Dave and I went to walk in a 5K at my old school. I also had some free water ice and a pretzel after the 5K. And let me tell you I needed it. That thing kicked my butt. But I finished it!


Dinner: We went to Red Robin. That's a big ass burger and fries and a COKE, which I have about 95% given up but sometimes I really want it. And sometimes I convince myself that I deserve it, like after walking a 5K. BUT I only ate half of this burger and fries!

The Good: Ummmm. Did I mention I walked a 5K? I also consciously examined the lunch I packed and made sure I had veg. I thought that was good. And I only ate half the burger.

The Bad: everything else? The bagel. The PBJ which I eat maybe once a week. It is definitely my go to meal, and I DO think it is better than the frozen or packaged meals I was keeping before. And, I mean, do you see the burger? Really? And all the snacks after the 5K, too. I mean, I definitely needed something, but I probably didn't need to have 2 cups of water ice or eat the whole pretzel, especially followed by that burger and fries and COKE. And even thought I only ate half the burger, I fully intend on eating the other half for lunch tomorrow.

Ok, enough beating myself up. I walked a 5K today, damnit!
