Breakfast: Have a little more time on the weekends, so today I made myself some over-easy eggs, which are probably one of my favorite foods. Also some toast, juice, and coffee. I love this flax and fiber bread. Oh, and there is a little of the homemade butter from the farmer's market on the toast.

Dinner! This was a switch from the original plan, because it was way too windy to grill. So we had leftover sweet potatoes and broccoli and from acorn squash with sausage. I am going to post the recipe because it was sooo delicious.

Dessert: I made an apple crisp. As desserts go, this one is ok. It does have a good bit of white flour, brown sugar, and butter, but it also has a lot of oats and apples. I haven't actually eaten any of this yet but I am totally going for it after I finish writing this. With some vanilla ice cream.
The Good: Dinner was totally thumbs up I think. I also made some iced tea today so maybe I can lay off the juice and soda. Eggs for breakfast were good. Off the bagel kick. We got some good stuff at the store today too.
The Bad: Lunch. It was delicious but I am such a sucker for cheeseburgers. I think I need to start coming up with some stuff I can keep on hand for healthy lunches and breakfasts, or just start planning them like I do dinners, because they aren't really that balanced and it is easy for me to run out and grab something on the weekends. I need to be more diligent with the soda, too. I was at about 1-2 a month, which I am happy with. It is getting back to 1-2 a week (still better than 3 a day). But the one today wasn't even that good. It just tasted like sugar water. And dessert... ah, my weakness. I love to bake but I try to avoid it because whatever I make gets devoured. That apple crisp will be gone by the end of the day tomorrow.
And speaking of, I am off to have some.
